The Seelbach is an older hotel (built in 1905) and has had the honor of having 9 US Presidents as a guest. The hotel was in “The Hustler” movie, hosted Al Capone in his hey-day, was written about in “The Great Gatsby” novel, and currently is rumored to be haunted by a ghost.

Despite the age of this magnificent hotel, the service is impeccable and the accommodations are absolutely first class. The Oak Room is a AAA Five Star restaurant and the bar on the first floor has a fantastic selection of liquor.

The hotel is located at the end of Louisville’s very popular Fourth Street where there is plenty of entertainment and dining. Make sure that you enough time to wander the hotel and enjoy its many photographs and treasures from yesteryear. The architecture is fantastic and the materials used for decoration are extraordinary.
