Here are more ideas for gifts for travelers. After I made my first list of ten ideas, I came up with even more. I hope that this helps you find that perfect gift for a traveler.
- iTunes gift card for music, TV shows, movies
- Noise canceling earbuds/headphones – BOSE makes the best but the Sony, Phillips, and JVC products are good
Many people travel in order to make their living. I am not speaking of airline pilots and flight attendants but instead regular business folks. They have to go to meetings, visit suppliers, and visit clients. They spend long hours in hotels, airports and planes.
If you know someone like this, what do you get them for a gift? Here is a list of 20 things to consider – something is definitely in your price range.
- iPod Touch. Actually an iPhone is okay to give but since it requires a cellular data plan it is not a fantastic gift. Make sure that the iPod Touch has as much memory as possible so that multimedia files can be stored and played.

With the increase in security and increase of people using today’s major airports, there is no getting around the fact that there will be hold ups and snags in your itinerary. It is extremely easy to become irritable, and for good reason, while at the airport. From long times, other rude passengers, missing
luggage, or even getting held up in the random security checkpoints, there are numerous ways to make you go crazy. But you might be thinking to yourself, “What can I do about all this?” Well, sometimes there is nothing you can do and I’m not going to pretend I can get you in the airport and in your seat with a smile on your face in twenty minutes, but there are a few things you can do that will decrease your chances of running into problems.
This post is not about a travel location but rather is about the process of getting there and how it seems to be unfair for airline travelers.
The article was originally written on MSNBC by George Hobica. George wrote a few paragraphs on each topic so if you are interested in what he was talking about, click through.
1. Making a reservation on the phone or in person
2. Re-banking frequent flyer miles
3. Cashing in frequent flyer miles without sufficient advance notice
4. Bringing a pet onboard in the cabin
5. Checking luggage
Okay, no one really wants to visit the Atlanta airport but the saying still stands that whether you are going to heaven or hell, you have to transfer in Atlanta.
So what do you do if you are stuck in the Atlanta airport for a layover? If you are a frequent flier, then you should probably invest in a membership at one of the airline clubs. That is easily the most comfortable way to deal with a 4 hour layover.
